It’s that time of year again! With Thanksgiving this week, and the Holidays just around the corner, many people are spending time with their loved ones. The Holidays can be a difficult, however, when someone you love is no longer on our earth to spend it with us. An empty seat at Thanksgiving dinner can feel very somber, and can really take away from the special moments the Holiday’s bring. It’s important to remember that your family members are absolutely still filling that seat and will be right there with you, partying away as the turkey is served and the dishes are passed. Your loved ones would not miss a holiday with their family for the world, why would they miss it now that they are free and in heaven? Be sure to acknowledge loved ones who have passed on, as they are sitting at the table with you. Being open to their presence is very important. A sense of ease will wash over you, and you will be able to feel their energy around you.
I hope everyone has a happy and safe Thanksgiving! In the comments below, write what you’re grateful for this Thanksgiving!
